Round 4 · optional
Draw It
Sketch it out — Pictionary style
▶ Play free in your browserHow this round works
Draw It is the optional fourth round — switch it on at setup for an extra twist. The same words come back one more time, but now you sketch them on the in-game canvas while your team shouts out guesses. No letters, numbers or words allowed. Because drawing takes longer than talking, this round gives you 60 seconds instead of 30.
Rules
- Draw on the canvas only — no letters, numbers, or written words
- No speaking, no sounds, and no gestures or mouthing the answer
- No symbols that simply spell the word (a drawn “=” or arrow standing in for letters)
- You get 60 seconds because drawing is slower than talking
Tips & tricks
Block in the big shape first
Rough the overall outline before details — your team often guesses from the silhouette alone.
Draw the easiest recognisable part
For “elephant”, the trunk reads instantly; you don’t need the whole animal.
Split compound words
For “sunflower”, draw a sun, then a flower, and let your team join the dots.
Icons beat art
Speed wins, not beauty. Simple, clear symbols land faster than a careful masterpiece.
Draw the scene, not just the noun
For “holiday”, a beach, sun and palm tree tell the story better than one object.
Direct the eye
Circle or point an arrow at the part that matters, and size things up to stress what’s important.
Challenge word categories
Hard to draw
Abstract ideas with nothing to picture — lean on a whole scene instead of one object.
Action words
Verbs are tricky on paper — show a figure mid-motion with movement lines.
Compound & multi-part
Perfect for splitting into two quick sketches your team assembles.
