These terms govern your use of World's Greatest Game (the “Game”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a free, browser-based party game available at worlds-greatest-game.com. By playing the Game or buying any subscription or lifetime access, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game.

1. The Game

World's Greatest Game is a timed word-guessing party game for 2–6 teams, played over up to four rounds (Describe It, One Word, Act It Out and an optional Draw It round). You can play with your own words or with curated word packs, and the Game runs entirely in your browser — nothing to download. We may add, change or remove features, word packs, languages and rounds over time to improve the Game.

2. Free plays and trials

You can try the Game for free. Playing with Your Words includes 10 free games, and each curated word pack includes 2 free games. Free-play allowances are provided on a best-effort basis per device and account and may change. Once your free plays for a given mode or pack are used, you'll be offered the option to subscribe or buy access to keep playing.

3. Purchases, subscriptions and renewals

• Subscriptions (a single word pack, or the “Everything” bundle) are billed in advance at the price shown to you at checkout and renew automatically each year until cancelled.
• Lifetime access is a one-time payment, with no recurring charge, that unlocks the included content for as long as the Game is available.
• The price, currency and billing period are always shown at checkout before you pay. We do not store or display prices anywhere except as fetched live at the point of purchase, so the amount you confirm is the amount you'll be charged.
• By subscribing you authorise us, through our payment processor, to charge your chosen payment method for the then-current subscription fee at the start of each renewal period.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, after which it won't renew. Lifetime access has nothing to cancel.

5. Refunds

Except where required by applicable consumer law, payments are non-refundable and partial billing periods are not refunded. If you think you've been charged in error, contact us at support@worlds-greatest-game.com and we'll look into it. Nothing in these terms removes any statutory rights you may have.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, including wallet methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, Revolut Pay, and credit or debit cards. We don't receive or store your full card details. Your use of these payment methods is also subject to the payment provider's own terms.

7. The words you add

When you play with Your Words, the words you enter are used to run your game. You're responsible for the words you add and should keep them appropriate for the people you're playing with. You must not add content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use. Don't rely on the Game to store your words — game content is transient and may be cleared at any time.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Game or its systems;
• copy, resell or commercially exploit the Game or its word packs without permission;
• circumvent free-play limits, paywalls or any access controls; or
• use the Game in any way that breaks applicable law.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Game available and working, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every region, and we may suspend or discontinue all or part of it.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Game. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Game after an update means you accept the revised terms.
