Prefer your own words or a ready-made set? Play with Your Words, where everyone adds their own words privately from their own phone (or passes one phone around when you're offline), or pick a curated word pack. Packs come in two flavours: country packs built for your country and age group, and themed packs like Taylor Swift, Music, Celebs, History, Culture, Geography, Sports and an adults-only Spicy pack. Own more than one? Build a combo pack game that mixes two or more of your packs into a single shuffled pot. You also choose how many words to play with, how many teams, which rounds to include, and your language — the whole game is available in English, Afrikaans, Spanish, German, French and Dutch.
Hit a word you don't like? Tap “Never show this word again” during your turn and it's quietly retired from your future games on that device.
Optional: finish leftover time. Turn on “Finish leftover time” in settings and any team that clears the round before the clock runs out keeps its spare seconds — they carry over and that team plays first in the next round with the extra time pre-loaded.
Who it's for
A game for couples & date night
One of the best two-player party games for couples: play head to head, fill the pot with inside jokes, and keep score over a glass of wine. Because you write the words yourself, every date-night round is personal — no board, no setup, nothing to download.
A family game for game night
Perfect for family game night with kids and adults together. Rounds are short, everyone stays involved, and acting words out has the whole room laughing. Little ones can add easy words, or pick a curated word pack matched to an age group — buckets run by generation, from the youngest players right up to grandparents — so every word is familiar to whoever's guessing and the game grows with your family.
A party & group game
Scale it up to six teams for parties, gatherings and group icebreakers. It's a quick-fire group game that gets loud fast — ideal when you want a crowd of people playing within seconds rather than reading a rulebook.
A board game alternative
Love a good party or board game but hate the box? This is the board-game experience with none of the bits: no board to set up, no cards to lose, no pieces to pack away. Everything runs in your browser and works offline once loaded.

Frequently asked questions
How does everyone add their words?
Tap Add words and a QR code appears. Everyone scans it and adds their own words privately from their own phone, so nobody sees what the others wrote. No internet, or want to keep it on one device? Pass a single phone around the table instead. Either way each team adds the same number of words, so the pot stays fair, and you'll see a green ready ✓ once the counts are even.
Is it free?
Yes, to start. Playing with Your Words gives you 10 free games, and every curated word pack comes with 2 free games to try. After that, an optional subscription unlocks unlimited play — subscribe to a single pack, buy all packs at once (unlock everything), or pay once for lifetime access. Any purchase also unlocks the bonus Draw It round for every game. Subscriptions renew yearly and you can cancel anytime; lifetime is a one-time payment. See the terms for details.
What word packs are there?
Bring your own words with Your Words, or choose a curated pack. Country packs are tailored to a country or region — Worldwide, USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, South Africa, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Colombia and India — each split into age-group buckets by generation so the words suit whoever's playing. Themed packs cover a topic instead of a place — Taylor Swift, Music, Celebs, History, Culture, Geography, Sports, and an adults-only Spicy pack (gated behind an 18+ confirmation).
What is a combo pack game?
Once you own two or more packs you can mix them into a single game. Tap Create a combo pack game in the pack picker, choose the packs you own, and the game shuffles them all into one pot — perfect for a “best of everything” round.
What is the Draw It round?
Draw It is the optional fourth round: instead of describing, saying one word or acting, you sketch each word on the in-game canvas, with 60 seconds because drawing is slower than talking. It's a premium bonus round that unlocks the moment you make any purchase — a single pack, Your Words, unlock-everything or lifetime — then you can switch it on for any game from the rounds picker.
What languages is it in?
The whole game plays in English, Afrikaans, Spanish, German, French and Dutch — pick your language from the menu.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It plays instantly in any modern browser and works offline once loaded. You can also install it to your home screen.
How many people can play?
From 2 players up to 6 teams, with any number per team — great for couples, families and bigger party groups.
